Martina Pizzigoni
Cultural Project Manager | Creative Technologist | Interaction & Audiovisual Designer
Martina Pizzigoni (Italy, *1998) is a multimedia artist whose practice explores interactive experiences at the intersection of digital culture, social dynamics, and anthropological inquiry. They hold a BA in New Media Art from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, and an MA in Cultural Project Management from Università Cattolica and Politecnico di Milano. Currently, they are completing an MA in Interface Cultures at the Kunstuniversität Linz (Austria), which includes a research period at the University of Tsukuba, Japan (April - July 2025) to further their thesis on digital relationality and AI-based interactive systems.
Their work has been presented internationally, with recent exhibitions at Ars Electronica Festival 2024, where their artwork (Very) Neural System received an Honorary Mention in the Campus Awards.
Their artistic practice focuses on creating interactive experiences. At the same time, the main interest of their research is the context in which we live, with the social and anthropological implications that characterise our digitally dominated society.
